This is the privacy policy of Dineke Kroesbergen / Her Soul Sabbatical. This document explains how we collect, use, and protect personal data gathered through our website (https://www.hersoulsabbatical.com) and our Beacons profile.

We respect your privacy and ensure that all personal information you provide is treated confidentially and in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

When you visit our website, fill out a form, or purchase a product, we may process the following personal data:

  • First and last name
  • Email address
  • IP address and browser data
  • Payment details (for purchases)
  • Data about your activity on our website

3. Purposes and legal grounds for processing

We process your personal data strictly on the legal grounds provided by the GDPR, for the following purposes:

  • Performance of a contract: to deliver the digital or physical products you purchased from us and to process your payment.
  • Consent: to send you newsletters or updates, if you have explicitly signed up for these.
  • Legitimate interest: to safeguard the security and proper technical operation of our website (for example, through server logs).

We do not retain your personal data for longer than strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which it was collected.

  • Customer/purchase data: invoice and payment data is legally retained for 7 years to comply with the statutory retention obligation of the Dutch Tax Authorities.
  • Newsletter/sign-up data: marketing data is retained until you unsubscribe or request its removal.

We do not sell your data to third parties. To manage our website and deliver our services, we work with trusted service providers who act as data processors:

  • Hostinger: our web hosting provider. They store server logs and provide the technical infrastructure for our website.
  • Beacons.ai: our platform for product sales, email address collection, and link-in-bio analytics.

Data transfer outside the EU: because Beacons.ai is based in the United States, data is transferred to servers in the US. This transfer takes place in accordance with the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, under which Beacons.ai commits to upholding European data protection standards.

Our website is designed to respect your privacy. We do not store tracking, marketing, or advertising cookies on your device.

We only use necessary, functional cookies that are strictly required for the website or webshop to work (such as remembering items in a shopping cart). These cookies do not track your browsing behaviour and do not require prior user consent.

Under the GDPR, you have the right to remain in control of your personal data. You can submit a request at any time to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate data.
  • Erase your data (the right to be forgotten).
  • Restrict or object to the processing of your data.

If you believe we are not processing your data correctly, you have the right to file a complaint with the Dutch data protection authority: the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
